How do I apply for financial aid?
To apply for financial aid, you need to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Paper applications are accepted and available. However, it is highly recommended that you apply online since it is fast, simple and safe. Please check with the Financial Aid Office if you have specific concerns about applying online.
Once your application has been reviewed and your eligibility has been determined, you will be notified through your UH email account advising you to view your financial aid award via MyUH Portal. Please read the email and financial aid award carefully. A financial aid award is based on the following:
