Honolulu Community College is committed to offering a variety of Career Assessments, depending on the individual's needs, anticipated outcomes, and personal goals. Upon your initial meeting with the Career Counselor, a plan to address your individual needs will be developed. Please be aware that not all career assessment results are immediately available to you upon completion. We offer three different types of assessments:

What is MBTI? Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a personality assessment designed to assist a person in identifying some significant personal preferences. Katharine Cook Briggs and her daughter Isabel Briggs Myers developed the Indicator during World War II, and its criteria follow from Carl Jung's theories in his work Psychological Types.
What is STRONG? The goal of this assessment is to give insight into a person's interests, so that they may have less difficulty in deciding on an appropriate career choice for themselves.
