A song I wrote towards the end of 2019. Experiencing probably the most difficult time in my life to date, having been in the culinary industry for 15 years making music was my therapy. Left my position at a renowned hotel here in Hawaii to pursue more out of life. Taught myself how to use Garage Band, composed the song in the moment of intense emotion and 2 years later I’m enrolled in the Audio Engineering Program and put the track out on streaming platforms with help of some professional friends. An ode to following a dream and making my mark as a Pacific Islander in the Hip Hop/ Rap genre.
