#### MATH 206 - Calculus II

- Prerequisite: "C" or higher in MATH 205 OR Placement in MATH 206
- Recommended Prep: Math prerequisites should be completed within the last two (2) years.

Differentiation and integration of trigonometric, exponential, and logarithmic functions; introduction to hyperbolic functions; techniques and applications of integration; infinite sequences and series.

5 hrs. lect. per week

Student Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of MATH 206, the student will be able to:

- Differentiate and integrate elementary transcendental functions
- Integrate single variable functions using various methods
- Apply Lâ€™Hospitalâ€™s Rule to find limits
- Evaluate improper integrals
- Solve separable differential equations
- Determine the convergence of infinite sequences and series and approximate functions with the Taylor
- Polynomial
- Apply techniques in this course to solve application problems.
- Use the computer to assist in clarifying concepts as well as an aid to solving problems.
