requirement for colleagues who receive Faculty Professional Development
money awarded by the committee as stated in the document. Carol stated
she reread the section and her concern was addressed. The Statement was
written several years ago, approved by the Faculty Senate Executive

The Committee member did reapprove the Statement as the guiding document

should be made out to UH Foundation with HCC Fac Dev Comm on the memo
line. The price of each book is $30 and the committee makes $6 on each

Jerry stated that the first Friday in March will be an Excellence in

the day.

awarding $10,000 to our faculty colleagues for professional development.
