As an integral part of Honolulu Community College's Administrative Services, Facilities Management's mission is to support and encourage the ideals of student and employee success by providing a safe and conducive educational and working environment as appropriate to industry and workplace safety standards, by providing positive, dependable, timely and friendly services while complying with all Federal, State and University of Hawaii regulations, by communicating accurate and appropriate information to enable all to be well informed of all occurrences on campus and throughout the UH System and by setting the example on campus by being positive role models, mentors and a source of continuous improvement.

The Honolulu Community College Facilities Management is responsible for the management of buildings and services to include grounds keeping, janitorial services and building maintenance functions. This office also conducts and coordinates the planning, budgeting, construction, repair, and maintenance of physical facilities in accordance with approved long-range development plans and applicable federal, state, and county building codes and standards.
