iCAN (Individualized Career Achievement Network) is a FAST-TRACK workforce certification program designed to help prepare students for entry-level employment or entrance into the University of Hawaii Community Colleges.
Through iCAN, instructors and coaches provide comprehensive curriculum and support to help students:
- Improve reading, writing, math and basic computer skills
- Develop job search skills as well as soft skills for workplace success or
- Apply for entrance into the community college and
- Earn a Certificate of Professional Development and National Career Readiness Certificate
iCAN is offered through the University of Hawaii Community Colleges as well as the Department of Education Community School for Adults.
Graduation day for 15 students who completed the Individualized Career Achievement Network or iCAN program run by Kapiolani Community College in partnership with the McKinley School for Adults. iCAN’s mission is to help participants improve their lives by finding career pathways, whether that’s college or some type of workforce training.
