Chemistry doesn't have to be the source of terror, horror, or fear.

Everyone does chemistry everyday, whether cooking, cleaning, or bathing. Many of our daily activities involve chemical changes, but also physical changes. They are hard to tell apart, and we want to be able to know the difference.

The difficulty with chemistry is doing calculations, balancing equations, and memorizing names. Removed from those burdens we can study chemistry the same way we studied physics, from the perspective of the nature of the science and its development.

Eventually we'll see how chemistry and physics work together to explain things that can not be explained by either chemistry or physics alone.
