The Metallica Scholars Initiative (MSI) is a workforce education program funded by Metallica’s All Within My Hands Foundation (AWMH) that provides grants to US community colleges for career and technical education. It supports students in skilled trades, aiming to bridge the talent gap, with over $15 million awarded since 2017.
Honolulu CC has been a Metallica Scholar since 2024 ($75,000) and 2025 ($50,000).
