Join the Cause: A Lifeline for Students in Need. Throughout 2025, Honolulu CC will be raising funds to provide emergency financial support for students who are facing financial difficulties.
When unexpected challenges arise, students at HonCC can access critical emergency support through this Student Emergency Aid fund. This fund provides financial assistance to students facing urgent educational and personal expenses.
The importance of such emergency aid cannot be overstated. Research shows that students experiencing financial instability are significantly less likely to complete their educational goals. A Johns Hopkins study found that students from food-insecure households are 43% less likely to graduate with an associates degree and 61% less likely to attain a graduate or professional degree.

Donate $105 or more to the Honolulu CC Emergency Aid fund (by December 31, 2025) and receive a free gift.

Forward your receipt from the University of Hawai’i Foundation to honccmkt@hawaii.edu and indicate which gift you would like to receive. You will receive confirmation of this email and will be able to pick up your gift from the Administration Building 6, 2nd Floor, Room 212.
