The Sustainability Showcase is an opportunity for the HonCC community to share ideas, projects, and passions related to all things green and sustainable.
Happy Earth Month!
As part of the 2022 Ho’olaule’a Celebration, Honolulu Community College is presenting its annual Sustainability Showcase – virtual and on-campus events to promote greater environmental awareness and responsibility. Please check out the following activities and resources encouraging sustainable lifestyles, awareness and commitment.
Trash to Treasures Contest (Virtual)

Open to all members of the campus: students, faculty, staff and administrators. Pictures of projects will be displayed on Padlet and prizes given for the best projects (those receiving the most like votes on Padlet) in two categories: student projects and faculty/staff/administrator projects. Prizes are provided by donations including from Student Life and Development and student leaders.
Check out the creative projects submitted!
