Are you Eligible?
The first step is to apply. You are eligible to apply if you:
- Are 18 years of age or older, or
- Have earned a U.S. high school diploma, GED, or equivalency certificate
(Note: Students under the age of 18 may be considered for any of our Dual Credit programs such as Early College or Running Start.)
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Due to overwhelming interest in our Electrical Installation and Maintenance Technology (EIMT) program, we will not be accepting new students for the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters. Also, we will not be admitting any students into the Auto Body Repair and Painting (ABRP) Program for Fall 2023 and beyond. Please check back for updates. First-Time Student
You are applying for the first time to Honolulu Community College and/or the University of Hawai‘i system
Returning Student
You attended HonCC in the past and want to return
Transfer Student
You are currently attending another University of Hawai‘i system college
International Student
You graduated from a high school outside the US or transferring from a college or university outside the US
Early College or Running Start
You are a High School student.
Veteran Student
You are a U.S. Veteran.
Senior Citizen Visitor Program
You are a student 60 years or older.
