About the Program
Our Hawaiian Studies (HWST) program will provide you with a foundation in the study of Native Hawaiian knowledge and cultural understanding with a rigorous curriculum of cultural origins, Hawaiian language, the ‘āina, and native political determination. Our program will also support your development and training toward the use of Native Hawaiian understanding and methods in the workforce (private, government, community), and other areas of inquiry, such as science, humanities, the arts, social sciences, and other professional endeavors.
