How to Apply
Complete the Online Application
Welcome back to the HonCC ‘ohana! Whether you’re returning to complete your degree, beginning a new program, or just taking classes to brush up on some skills, we’re glad that you’ve decided to further your education with us. Follow the steps below to get started today.
First, complete the Online Application. Check out our application video for tips on completing the application. Note: Login required for online application. If this is your first time applying, you must create an account.
The deadline to submit your online application is:
- Fall term: August 1
- Spring term: December 15
- Summer term: May 1

Application Fees
There is no application fee for Hawai‘i Residents, Veterans (separated no more than 3 years from the military at the beginning of the term), or active duty Military or eligible Military Dependent Stationed in Hawai‘i.
There is a non-refundable $25 application fee for non-Hawai‘i residents.
Application Rollover Request Form
Students are eligible for a rollover request over a span of two years. HonCC must have been the student’s last home campus. A student is eligible for a rollover request if the student’s last semester of acceptance and/or last semester of registration is no more than two years prior to the upcoming semester. (Example: Student can have their application rolled over from Fall 2022 to Fall 2024, Summer 2023 to Fall 2024, or Spring 2023 to Spring 2025.) There are no roll backs!
