Honolulu Community College’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs recruit and train students who are eager to upskill and looking for meaningful, living wage work. However, we need your help ensuring their training is relevant. Our program Advisory Committees are composed of industry professionals to guide our CTE Programs. Local employers, like yourself, shape our training and program curriculum so your industry has a better pool of candidates today and potential leaders tomorrow. As part of HonCC’s strategic plan to increase career readiness, Advisory Committees meet twice a year to ensure our programs are on target by reviewing curriculum and discussing industry trends. We welcome new industry partners on an ongoing basis to encourage full representation of Hawaii’s workforce.
