How to Apply
Complete the Online Application
We are excited to have you join our Honolulu Community College (HonCC) ‘ohana! If this is your first time attending college, complete the Online Application. Check out our application video for tips on completing the application. Note: Login required for online application. If this is your first time applying, you must create an account.
The deadline to submit your online application is:
- Fall term: August 1
- Spring term: December 15
- Summer term: May 1

There is no application fee for Hawai‘i Residents, Veterans (separated no more than 3 years from the military at the beginning of the term), or active duty Military or eligible Military Dependent Stationed in Hawai‘i.
There is a non-refundable $25 application fee for non-Hawai‘i residents.
Application Rollover Request
Students are eligible for a rollover request over a span of two years. HonCC must have been the student’s last home campus. A student is eligible for a rollover request if the student’s last semester of acceptance and/or last semester of registration is no more than two years prior to the upcoming semester. (Example: Student can have his or her application rolled over from Fall 2021 to Fall 2023, Summer 2021 to Summer 2023, and Spring 2021 to Spring 2023.) There are no roll backs!
