Honolulu Community College currently has six all gender restrooms located in the following buildings:
- 2 – Building 6 (Administration, First Floor)
- 2 – Building 4 (Cafeteria, Mauka Side along The Mall)
- 1 – Building 14 (CENT, Diamond Head end of The Mall)
- 1 – Building 20 (Trade/Apprenticeship Complex)

Safe Zone Program
The Safe Zone Program’s objective is for trained participants to utilize their gained knowledge and skills to foster a safe and inclusive community for LGBTQ+ students, faculty, and staff to promote social justice in the University of Hawai’i System. Upon completion of a Safe Zone Training, participants will be invited to become Advocates in the University of Hawai’i System Safe Zone Program.
Any office or faculty/staff member that has the LGBTI Safe Zone poster is a part of the previous Safe Zone Allies Program. Any office or faculty/staff/student office that has the LGBTQ+ Safe Zone Poster declared they are advocates.

Queerify Program
QUEERIFY is a UH-based public service project designed to amplify queer voices, mobilize queer folks to speak our truths, and connect queer folks and allies with information and one another for a stronger, healthier community. QUEERIFY is sponsored by the University of Hawaiʻi Commission on LGBTQ+ Equality.
